Running the rat race is becoming more difficult with each passing day. I am always looking for working smart instead of harder so that I can save some time while juggling work, studies, caring for my child and home. Why not do the same for my Deen (religion)?       There are so many little actions that we can do throughout the day that can lead us to Jannah (Paradise) God willing. Some of these deeds can take only a few minutes of our time and sometimes only seconds, but their reward is indeed enormous. As part of this series, we are going to go through many such shortcuts that our beloved, Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has taught us.   Shortcut # 1 Reading this invocation after every prayer wipes all our sins. It takes a maximum of 2 minutes of our time! Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported Allaah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as saying: “If anyone extols Allah after every prayer thirty-three times, and praises Allah thirty-three times, and declares His Greatness thirty-three times, ninety-nine times in all, and says to complete a hundred:” there is no deity worthy of worship (in truth) except Allaah, having no partner with Him, to Him belongs sovereignty and to Him is praise due, and He is Potent over everything,” his sins will be forgiven even if they are as abundant as the foam of the sea. Subhaan Allah, walhamdu li Allah wa Allah ‘Akbar, – Laa ‘ilaaha ‘illa Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-hamdu wa Hu wa’ala akul shay’in Qadeer. Glory is to Allah , and praise is to Allah , and Allah is the Most Great (each said thirty-three times) +’there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise and He is Able to do all things. May Allah accept the best of your Duas and Deeds- Amen.   Stay tuned for more shortcuts to Jannah in the coming episodes inshaAllah.   And please remember us in your Dua.
