Be watchful of where you place your personal capacity, partially or fully, and what you busy yourself with. It’s one single capacity, either wisely employed or ignorantly wasted. Every individual has one limited capacity of mental, spiritual, physical, emotional and time capacities, which, unless harnessed wisely for good purposes, can be aimlessly wasted, causing much harm to each person, in this world and the other. As you may grasp yourself, such capacities can be either a helpful or detrimental elements to one’s pursuit of success. How so? Read on… You either employ your capacities in where you can be productive and efficient, or you’re wasting its potential. And this doesn’t mean being selfish. This as well shouldn’t be perceived as an invitation to be drowned in worldly objectives- we’ve once agreed on one general theory that success in this Dunya (world) is part and parcel of success in Deen (religion). So they both feed one another or wreak havoc one another. Brothers and sisters: Be watchful of where you place your personal capacity, partially or fully, and what you busy yourself with. It’s one single capacity, either wisely employed or ignorantly wasted. In his masterpiece “Dear Beloved Son.”, Imam Abu Hamed al Ghazali’s advices his student saying:   “My dear son… Among he many pieces of advice which the Sayyidina Rasul-ullah (Sallallahu „alayhi wa sallam) gave to the Muslims was the following: “The sign that Allah (SWT) has turned away from His worshipper is his busying himself in that what does not concern him; and if a man has passed an hour of his life in other than for which he was created, it is certainly fitting that his grief should be prolonged [on the Day of Resurrection], and whosoever has reached [the age of] forty, and his good does not surpass his evil, let him prepare for the Fire.” May Allah grant you all the good of this World and the Other- Amen!   By: Maha Youssuf maha@muslimtribune.org   Posted on January 5, 2012   Stay tuned for more effective recipes for Success insppired from the Quran and Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) Older recipes are to be fully uploaded soon.
